We are Genesis Homecare Services, a non-medical home care team serving seniors in North Bethesda. Our work is simple to describe and hard to do well. We help older adults handle the everyday things that keep them safe and comfortable at home, from grooming and bathing to meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and transportation. We do it with patience and respect.

Our caregivers are professionally trained and matched to each client, matching matters. A person living with dementia needs something different from a person who mostly wants steady Senior Companionship Care and someone to share the day with. We assign caregivers based on individual needs and specialization, so the fit feels right from the first visit. For families managing recovery at home, we also provide Respite Care and Post-Hospital Care to help through the tougher stretches.

We hold to professional standards and comply with state and federal confidentiality regulations. We keep our rates affordable and our scheduling flexible, with ongoing, part-time, and 24-hour arrangements available. Every month we conduct client satisfaction interviews. We listen, and we adjust. Care is not a fixed script. It changes as needs change.

Much of our work is about presence. Loneliness wears on people, and consistent companionship reduces isolation and improves daily life.
